On Monday, May 27th at 6:30 PM, the Municipality of Dorgali will host a new event in the series “Einstein Telescope meets the residents”, where ET researchers meet the citizens of some neighboring municipalities to the Sos Enattos area, candidate to host the future gravitational wave observatory. The initiative aims to foster direct dialogue between experts and the community, to increase awareness about the project’s goals and the Italian candidacy, and to address the legitimate concerns of citizens about the impact this infrastructure might have on the territory, if it will be actually built in Sardinia.
The Dorgali meeting will feature Alessandro Cardini, director of INFN Cagliari, and Andrea Contu, scientific responsible of ET Cagliari, moderated by Matteo Serra (ET Italy communication).
