A series of interviews with young researchers from ETIC (Einstein Telescope Infrastructure Consortium), is now available on the official YouTube channel of Einstein Telescope Italy.
The ETIC project, of which INFN is the lead partner, was born and developed in the context of Italy’s bid to host the Einstein Telescope. It has two main objectives: to carry out a feasibility and characterization study of the candidate site of Sos Enattos and to create or enhance a national network of research and development laboratories at INFN locations, universities, and research institutions participating in ET, focusing on the enabling technologies for the future experiment.
The ETIC project – funded with 50 million euros from the NRRP (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) as part of Mission 4 (Education and Research), coordinated by the Ministry for Universities and Research (MUR) – provided the opportunity for the launch of the “ET Generation” communication activity. This initiative aims to give voice to the many young researchers recruited for the project, who are the protagonists of this series of interviews.
The publication of the interviews (recorded last February in Assisi during the workshop “Einstein Telescope: science and technology in Italy”) coincides with the opening of ET Italy’s new YouTube channel, which includes institutional and informative video content, interviews and playlists dedicated to the Einstein Telescope project and the Italian candidacy.
