On Saturday, January 27th, for the Holocaust Remembrance Day, the INAF-Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory (in collaboration with La Filharmonie – Florence Philharmonic Orchestra) is organising the event “Mysterious vibrations. The Universe and the Music of Albert Einstein”, where science and music intertwine.

The event – hosted by the library of the Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory – will be opened by a conference about the Einstein Telescope project held by Enzo Brocato, director of the Abruzzo Astronomical Observatory. This will be followed by a musical concert in which Aurora Landucci (violin) and Marco Padovani (piano) will perform music by Leo Ornstein, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Philip Glass and Luigi Dallapiccola.

Two replicas of the whole event are scheduled, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. Reservations are mandatory: more detailed information are available at this link.
