The Sardinian Cultural Recreational Association of Como is organizing an informative event to promote and support Italy’s candidacy to host the Einstein Telescope experiment. The meeting will take place on Saturday, March 23, starting at 3:30 PM, at Villa Gallia, headquarters of the Province of Como (via Borgo Vico 148).

During the conference, Francesco Haardt (University of Insubria) will provide a general introduction to gravitational waves, Andrea Contu (INFN researcher, responsible for ET Cagliari) will illustrate the Einstein Telescope project, while Davide Rozza (technical university staff member of the University of Milano-Bicocca and INFN) will share his direct experience in the Sar-Grav laboratory located in the Sos Enattos area, candidate to host ET.

The event, moderated by Matteo Serra (INFN, ET Italy communication), is organized with the support of INFN, the University of Insubria, and the University of Milano-Bicocca, and under the patronage of the Sardinia Region, the Province of Como, and F.A.S.I. (Federation of Sardinian Associations in Italy).
