From April 11th to 14th, Foligno and Fabriano will host the thirteenth edition of the Science and Philosophy Festival, a traditional event in the landscape of Italian science festivals. The theme of this year’s edition is: “The Mediterranean: from the cradle of science and philosophy to a stage for the challenges of change.”

The Einstein Telescope project will be on stage in two events:

  • Thursday, April 11th, at 6:00 PM, Teatro San Carlo, Foligno

Studying the Universe from the heart of Sardinia

  • Saturday, April 13th, at 4:45 PM, Auditorium Santa Caterina, Foligno

Gravitational waves will also be the focus of the meeting “The detection of gravitational waves: a collective effort for a historic result,” with Helios Vocca (full professor of experimental physics at the University of Perugia), scheduled for Saturday, April 13th, at 6:00 PM at the Centro di Selezione e Reclutamento Nazionale dell’Esercito, Viale Mezzetti, 2, Foligno.
