On Thursday, March 27, at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cagliari, a meeting was held for students of the courses “Construction of Roads, Railways, and Airport”. “Superstructures of Roads, Railways, and Airports”, and “Design of Bridges and Special Structures”, with the participation of Maurizio Boi, administrator of the Leonardo Consortium and designer of the future gravitational wave observatory Einstein Telescope.
The event, promoted by Francesca Maltinti, professor of one of the courses, and attended by other members from the Faculty of Engineering, provided an overview of the project and highlighted the opportunities it will create for the future of students. In particular, the seminar aimed to inform young people about the numerous and significant job opportunities that the project’s upcoming phases, as well as the construction and management of the facility, will offer in the coming years.
