On Saturday, March 14 at 5:00 PM, at the Municipal Auditorium of Onanì (NU), a new event in the series “Einstein Telescope meets the residents” will take place. This series of meetings engages with the population of the municipalities surrounding the Sos Enattos area, which has been proposed as the site for the future European gravitational-wave observatory, the Einstein Telescope (ET). The initiative aims to foster direct dialogue between experts and local citizens, increasing awareness of the project’s goals and of the potential impact this infrastructure could have on the region. After opening remarks by the Mayor of Onanì, Clara Michelangeli, the speakers will include Raffaele Marras (the Region’s consultant on the Einstein Telescope), Andrea Contu (INFN researcher and head of ET Sardinia), and Maurizio Boi (administrator of the Leonardo Consortium). The discussion will be moderated by Carlotta Lucato (Unitelsardegna).
