The Einstein Telescope project will be protagonist at the third edition of “L’Italia delle Regioni – Festival delle Regioni“, which will take place in Bari from October 19 to 22. Starting at 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 20, Domenico D’Urso (University of Sassari), scientific responsible of Einstein Telescope Italy, will present “Einstein Telescope: A Challenge for Sardinia and Italy,” in dialogue with Matteo Serra (INFN), head of communications for ET Italy. The event, to be held at the Arena coperta delle presentazioni of the Villaggio delle Regioni, in Piazza del Ferrarese, is organized by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia in collaboration with INFN and aims to illustrate the potential and scientific goals of the future gravitational wave observatory, which Italy is a candidate to host in the Nuoro region, and how this project could transform Sardinia into a global center for scientific research.
The festival is organized by the Conferenza delle Regioni e Province Autonome, this year in collaboration with the Puglia Region. The theme of this edition – “The Region of the Future between Digital and Green: What Skills to Bridge the Gap” – aims to explore how digital innovation and sustainability can become key elements for the future of Italian regions.
