On Wednesday, 20 November, the Regional Government of Sardinia, convened by President Alessandra Todde, approved the allocation of funds for drafting urban planning tools for the municipalities involved in the implementation of the Einstein Telescope project. On the proposal of the Regional Minister for Local Authorities, Finance, and Urban Planning, Francesco Spanedda, a funding of € 240,000 was approved for the municipalities of Bitti, Lula, and Onanì. The aim is to support the preparation of the Municipal Urban Plans (PUCs) to ensure the compatibility and coherence of planned interventions in the area, also in anticipation of a favorable evaluation of the candidacy of the Sos Enattos site as a potential location for the Einstein Telescope.
